Olympic Air is the flag carrier airline of Greece. Olympic Air was founded in 2009 and is the largest airline in Greece based on number of destinations. Its main hub is Athens International Airport, with Thessaloniki International Airport and Rhodes International Airport serving as secondary hubs. Olympic Air operates scheduled passenger services to more than 38 destinations. On 22 October 2012 it was announced that Aegean would purchase Olympic Air.
Olympic Air is a not a member of an airline alliance. Olympic Air operates a mixed fleet of Airbus and Bombardier aircraft.
Olympic Air offers 3 classes of service. Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. Premium Economy class is only available aboard Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
