Germania to Connect Düsseldorf with Karlovy Vary
Berlin – Germania will be launching a new route in the coming Spring, with flights from Düsseldorf to Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) in the Czech Republic. From 26 March to 26 October 2017, the airline will operate two flights a week between the business centre in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and the ‘jewel of the West Bohemia Spa Triangle’. This is the first time that spa and wellness devotees from Western Europe will be able to fly to Carlsbad.
“This route will appeal to customers in western Germany and on the border with Holland, who want to avoid long bus journeys”, says Daniela Pilz, Germania’s Director of Sales – Tour Operators.
Karlovy Vary combines elegance and exclusive spas with a stunning location in the heart of a wooded valley, and is one of the most beautiful spa towns in Europe.
Germania will operate a Boeing 737-700 with 148 seats on the route on Thursday and Sunday evenings, making this destination ideal for short breaks. Visitors to Carlsbad can look forward to rest and relaxation, a wide cultural programme, unspoilt nature and Czech cuisine, whilst visitors to Düsseldorf will be welcomed by a vibrant city atmosphere, the Rhine and a shoppers’ paradise.
