Sep. 16, 2016 – Don’t have time to wait in line for a bite before your flight? Delta is serving up Shake Shack in Delta One on select flights to enjoy at your seat at 30,000 feet.

This Sunday, Sept. 18, Delta will celebrate National Cheeseburger Day, in partnership with Shake Shack, to serve ShackBurgers on board.

Customers flying Delta One on select flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport will enjoy a complimentary ShackBurger. Additionally, all customers flying from JFK to LAX on Sept. 18 will receive a voucher for a complimentary ShackBurger at the Los Angeles Shake Shack.

Shake Shack’s partnership with Delta builds on the airline’s ongoing partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group, whose chefs at Marta, Union Square Cafe, North End Grill and Union Square Events have curated in-flight seasonal menus for select Delta One flights.

Since the original Shake Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, the company has opened multiple locations including two locations in Terminal 4 (T4) at JFK International Airport in Queens, N.Y. The first JFK Shack opened on May 24, 2013, near Gate B37. The second JFK Shack opened in the same terminal on July 5, 2014, near Gate B23. Both T4 locations offer all the Shack classics plus breakfast sandwiches daily until 11 a.m.
