Seat Information Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800
The Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft is configured in a single class, high density layout and has 175 Economy Class seats.
Each of the 175 Economy Class seats is fitted with a 32-33-inch pitch and 17-inch seat width. The seats are arranged in a 3-3 abreast configuration. Southwest offers free in-flight non-alcoholic beverages and offers alcoholic beverages for sale. Southwest has complimentary peanuts or pretzels on all flights, and most flights have free Nabisco snacks.
All 737-800s are equipped with Wi-Fi, streaming live television, Beats audio, free eBooks and video on demand. Wi-Fi Internet is available on all flights, passengers can connect to the Wi-Fi network of internet provider Row 44 (paid service).
Southwest is the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 737. Southwest Airlines has scheduled flights to 98 destinations in 41 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
The Southwest Airlines fleet is mostly comprised of current-generation aircraft, resulting in maximum fuel efficiency, decreased noise and reduced environmental impact. The 737NG is the most environmentally friendly and has the lowest carbon emissions per seat of any aircraft in its class.
